I went to this school from 1961-1964. I loved being there. I beat everyone at marbles and tetherball.

Middle Haddam school left an indelible mark on my life. My mom was the school nurse for a few years. I loved our trips walking down to the library, tapping trees to make maple syrup, and Mr. Burdick!

My parents both attended this school in the 30's. It would be a great place for a museum of local history.

Why tear it down when it's in good condition AND means so much to a community? It's just not right....what we don't need is more of our history being replaced with meaningless "office" buildings.

I attended Middle Haddam from 1974 to 1950. My 6th grad teacher was Mr. Reddy (Ready?)

I am so in support of repurposing our historical structures- it makes so much sense economically and maintaining the character of our community!

I did a letter writing campaign to try to save this building years ago when Dr. Breck was the superintendent and it was decided to close the school. This is a historical building that needs to be saved!
