The square isn't the square without the melting pot. There is no other place to see the lights come on. There would be no romance and no soul downtown.

From the time our daughter was 12, it has been a tradition to celebrate her birthday here every year (she's now 18). She was given several choices, but always chose the Melting Pot.

It says here the lease is not being renewed bc the owner feels the Melting Pot has run its course and that a bbq place has signed a lease and will be remodeling. How is that not in place of the Melting Pot??

You guys do realize that the BBQ place going in the square is not in place of the melting pot. I work for the bbq company that is expanding and we have been renting another location for over a year. If the melting pot is closing its not because of the BBQ place and no one is being bullied. So find out all the facts before you jump to conclusions. Thanks

The melting pot is a romantic place which fits perfectly on the Square. It's unique to be able to take family there when visiting from out of town.

This place was a labor of love, for the community which binded friendship and memories for all those who experienced it and now greed is going to replace it
