To whom ever and you know who you are had the media course abolished should be ashamed of yourselves. The students not only enjoy the class but have learned enormously.

Saving the media course in the school curriculum can help young persons by empowering them positively in ways that can give them tools to communicate verbally and provide them with confidence going forward .

This class also teaching coding and initiation to robotics; a most rapidly advancing field globally; our children need to be prepared for our digital world and I simply cannot understand why in other schools across the globe kids are being taught to code and new innovative class are integrated at the elementary level and here we are at the emsb making more cuts. Schools should have the right to define themselves based on the programs they offer. Media class should stay as a standalone course.

In a technology driven world which is becoming devoid of independent creative thought I find it highly disconcerting that there would be a motion to remove media courses from our children.
