I love the Masquerade with every fiber of my being. The Masquerade taught me how to be in a band, and how to be a person in general. It's an escape for thousands of people in Atlanta.

We can't let this happen. The Masq has played such a vital role in my life, concerning music. I mean hell, I've seen greats such as Pentagram, and Kings X along with with newer acts such as The Sword and Red Fang there. Hell I've even played there. We cant let this happen!

Some of the best memories I have are at his place! This cannot happen! Atl has enough apartment buildings. God forbid I have to go to tabernacle for my shows Masquerade wins on all fronts

This is bullshit. There are already enough homes in atlanta.. the people who are trying to build these apartments are killing our music scene. Its one of the only cool venues we have left.. please dont destroy our music... :(

The Masquerade is a piece Atlanta history that will not be replaced. Especially because finding a building to essentially do the same thing in Atlanta nowadays would be near impossible. Apartments? Really?? Don't do this to a whole scene of music lovers who come to see their favorite bands play and often play there themselves.

To destroy this venue would be a travesty. I have witnessed the best shows of my life here and now, as if music wasn't already being killed from the inside out, they feel Atlanta needs less culture and more body stacking ratholes. Save the masquerade, save the music.
