I have some fond memories of the masquerade. It's disgusting inside and is in desperate need of renovations, however, to destroy it completely is to destroy a piece of Atlanta's heritage!

The local music scene needs this place. Desperately.

This is my favorite venue of all time. I'm a touring musician and the Masquerade still is the best and not only that it's the only medium size venue in Atlanta.. Touring bands will skip Georgia if they close down the Masquerad.

I grew up here! From 13 to 22, the mas has always been my favorite venue and one of the only reasons I EVER go downtown. It has too much history and is too important to turn into an apartment complex!! Every band I see there says it's their favorite venue. We can't do this!!

How could you even think that destroying this place was okay? Is an icon!

This was where I felt okay to be on stage... I remember the first time I played Heaven, it was a huge deal for me, I love this place and the people there like it is a second home and a family. There is to much history here to just knock it down for some crappy over priced apartments
