I'm an aspiring musician and member of a metro Atlanta band. I've seen some of my favorite big time bands play there, like NOFX and Portugal. The Man. I've grown up dreaming of playing Heaven stage packed, or even Hell if we could fill it. It's hands down my favorite venue in Atlanta, and I want it to be present in not just my future, but the future of anyone who enjoys good music.

History and culture are important. Once destroyed, you can't bring it back. Apartments or condos can be built anywhere.

This has been a fantastic venue for local and national bands for years. I've spent countless nights either in the crowd or on stage with my own band, performing.

They can't tear this down! I saw my first concert ever here- as I am sure did many others- and it is still, hands down, my favorite venue to go to.

I've played at and seen countless shows here. Despite it being old and dusty, this place is one of the most iconic venues in Atlanta. Tearing it down would be a travesty.

This place is part of America history and is one of the few buildings left from other old days. If anything this building should be protected and continue to share it's rich history with people visit to see one of there favorite bands and music groups. It's part of Atlanta's heartbeat, getting rid of this building would slowly kill Atlanta's culture and rhythm.

This place is the epitome of my teenage years. So much great music and history in this place. No other locations exist for midsized bands to play

There are literally hundreds of areas in Atlanta that can be demolished and rebuilt that would make the community better. The Masquerade is not only a historic structure but its historic to many MANY music lovers who grew up experiencing music there. Its not just a dirty rock club. Its home to a lot of us in a very literal sense of the word. Do the right thing. Save the Masquerade.

Do not take the best venue for underground or Heavy music away from Atlanta.
Save the Masquerade!
