This place is a huge part of my life and is a place of great memories that I would like to continue. This venue is priceless to many of us Atlanta music lovers

My first real.concert was at the mascarade and the experience of being able to meet the band artist in such a cool intimate place will never go away and neither should the mascarade. Its a place for music and postive energy to live and tbrive and that energy doesnt stay dormant in that old buikding, it spreads through the people, tbrough the streets of atlanta, outward across georgia and so on. The building of apartments may give people shelter, but the deconstruction of the mascarade takes away even more people's HOME! LONG LIVE THE MASCARADE!!!!! LONG LIVE THE MUSIC!!!

Im a musican ive played the masq tons of times and its much more profitable than some crap apparents in the city fact most ppl wouldnt even go to that side of town if it wasnt for the masq or varsity

The Masquerade is not only a historic place, it is also a place where kids can be carefree and have a good time watching bands they love perform. This venu has given many-a-band local and famous an opportunities to share their music with fans and musicians alike in a friendly environment. This building should be preserved at all costs and should be allowed continued operation as long as fans are still showing up for shows.

This is my favorite venue in Atlanta along with many other people many great times have been shared there with many great bands and many of my great friends this place is iconic and should not be torn down for "just what Atlanta needs" more apartments
