It really is depressing the landmark venues Atlanta has lost. The Agora, 688 Club, Metroplex.... Please don't let this one disappear!

This is THE primary Atlanta for punk, hardcore, post punk...basically any alternative style. Its an iconic venue...multiple well known bands (eg Silverstein) have written songs about it. So many bands ive talked to love playing here. It helps Atlanta's music scene immensely.

This has been one of the best venues I've ever seen some of my favorite bands at. It's an outrage that even the though of it being torn down is actually happening. Stop the madness now.

This venue is too amazing and the building is too historical. Can't tear it down for apartments.

I currently live in the area and would hate to see this venue go away. My youth was highly influenced by The Masquerade...if you tear it down you remove a piece if Atlanta history as well as mine and thousands more. This area already has too many 'luxury apartments'. What we don't have are more cultural venues where people can enjoy good music and good times with everyone in Atlanta. Go find some where else to build your apartments and leave The Masquerade for those who truly treasure what it has to offer.

Don't tear down the Masquerade! It not only has history with the Atlanta community, but with me as well. It was the first concert venue I ever went to with my husband.

EVERY CITY DESERVES THEIR VENUES. This is a historical landmark. and has been representing underground artists ever.

Other cities have character, because they've made an effort to preserve their historic buildings. Atlanta increasingly just has a sea of new construction apartments.
this is my home
