do not take down this building. It's iconic and an important stepping stone for emerging artists and a pleasant venue to visit for more established artists to enjoy

We need the masquerade to stay please it has so many memories and it's the last place that smaller less popular artist can play and get more well known it's the last place in GA that has metal bands and other artist constantly we need this place it's our home away from home just the thought of it being gone breaks my heart and so many others too please keep it!

Leave something here in Atlanta with some character to it. We have enough places for people to live. Not enough music venues for entertainment !!!!

This is one of my favorite music and social event venues in the city. It is a staple of O4W and building around and closing it is such a mistake and destroys one of the unique staples of this part of town.

I've been to a lot of concerts and still going to them..... But The MASQUERADE has always been hands down the best shows I have seen. That place makes you feel more connected to the musicians that you are there to see. The energy there is worth absorbing and I plan on going back if they do not put up more housing that is going to turn to background crap. I've seen people from different states come to The Masquerade to get the different feel it gives to everyone there. That's why we enjoy it and it would break a lot of people hearts and destroy the possibility of creating new memories at this wonderful place. I hope it stands for a very long time!!!!!!

This venue shaped my high school life. I was there every weekend for one show or another. I still go there. You cannot beat its acoustics and up close and personal shows with the artists. It would be a crime to tear it down.

Just went to maddecent yesterday....by far the best concert so far that ive gone to and one i would go to in my future years if it isnt destroyed. Great venue and historical part of atl
