I have been going to concerts/events at The Masquerade/The Excelsior Mill for decades. It is my favorite concert venue in ATL. Please leave the Masquerade as a concert venue. It is a staple of ATL. Don't destroy the flavor of our city by replacing it with a generic venue. Thank you.

This is a historical landmark for the city of Atlanta and the legacy the mills gave us in this old city.

This place is WAYYY too amazing to get rid of. Too much history of music. Up and coming bands made their start here. Can't get rid of it.

Say NO to overpriced apartments and yes to culture/history. Which do you think Atlanta really needs more of?!

This venue is extremely important to Atlanta and the inhabitants, even to metro Atlanta. Please do not destroy this establishment.

Please stop tearing down the things that make Atlanta, Atlanta, just to make way for a bunch of soulless, over-priced apartments!

Please do not destroy the masq. That has been a big part of my life and I continue to support them. Take your apartments elsewhere please. This place gives troubled people a place to be safe and out of trouble.

don't wanna be a Debby Downer here, BUT the owners of the masquerade willingly sold the land for 5.3 million dollars. They obviously don't wanna run the place anymore (it is kind of falling apart). They are gonna be fanning themselves with hunnids while they gleefully watch the building get wrecked.

How can you tear down such an amazing and historical building that inspires art, love and music. This venue supports such a phenomenal array of artists. Offers character and charm and is a place, I, and many others hold dear to our heart. Do not turn it into an ugly regurgitation of the innumerable other boxes we can live in. Keep the music alive.

Masquerade I watched my little brother play his first concert there. The masquerade is a great venue for local artist to be heard don't take that away from future artist. Support local music and save the masquerade
