My grandad worked at this pit and I have great memories of being taken here as a child so that grandad could tell stories and reminisce. It would be such a shame to loose this iconic landmark as there is hardly any left now to see.

get the pit head fixed , its ours and you know it should be renovated , its our our fathers and fore fathers to .so cummon stop dragging you feet . its our landmark, and get the train done up to while your about it , the place looks old n grubby coz you only fix it now and then jeez get on with it
