I lovely memorial to all the miners who worked down the Mary Pit. It should be kept as school children can see it rather than in a text book or photo.

My father worked at the Mary pit when I was a boy still remember walking down to meet him when he finished his shift. This structure should be turned into a phenomenal museum /restaurant gift shop imagine the views from the upper floors. This cannot be allowed to be demolished it is our heritage.
