Mr. Balog and Mr. Gorman have poured their heart and souls into this band, and was the greatest experience I had at Riley. Don't tank the program!

I have experience with Linda Howard as an orchestra director with one of my older children, and in a word, she was a disaster. She is not qualified for this job. Riley band has a history of excellence...lets keep it that way

Marching band works as hard or harder than any team and deserves the best possible adult leadership.

As a former member of the Riley band, with the knowledge of Linda Howard's teaching techniques and abilities, I am without a doubt, in agreement that her as band director would be a move detrimental to the success of the Riley Band. As for the band members and students; all of them trust, respect, and confide in Mr.Balog and Mr. Gormen. They are the epitome of determination, success, and true character.

Class of '07! I've known Gorman and Balog for years and they were EXCELLENT directors. They gave me free reign to learn and grow as a musician. I had the best time the 4 years of not only marching band but concert, pep and jazz band as well! We accomplished ao much during my high school years that I am so proud to say I came from the Pride of the South Side! Please, do NOT let this woman direct the Marching Wildcats. Youll not only tarnish a great name, but you'll lose students as well!
SAVE THE WILDCATS!
Mr gorman is an excellent teacher.
