Don't cut these trees , as it gives shade for all sporting events since I was little . We were at the gym 5 days a week for basketball , baseball, volleyball. This place has memories for all of Honokaa.

As we head into a super El Niño year, this summer and subsequent summers, these seasons are going to be extremely dry and hot. these trees are part of our ecosystem that contribute to the much needed shade for our park users. Please reconsider alternatives for upgrades to the parking lot without sacrificing these beautiful trees. Honoka'a is a community that is willing to sacrifice a little bit of time and walking to provide parking at another area so these trees can be saved.

Please leave the trees alone. My children and now grandchildren frequent that park for athletic activities and the trees provide a place of relaxation out of the direct sun for us and the kids,

These are beautiful trees that provide so much for the aesthetic of this park. They definitely should not be removed!

We've proved we're capable of sending humans to the dark side of the moon and back...surely we are smart enough to come up with a better solution to pavement damage in Honoka'a Park!

They need to stop cutting down all the trees. Look at Paauilo Park . We have none, with the promise of replacing the ones they did cut.

Most of the trees that provided shade from when I was a young kid growing up have already been cut. Don’t cut the little we have left
