I appreciate the financial pressures that the school is under, but rowing is part of the essence of the London Oratory, a unique offering to our children and future children at the school. It is fundamental to what makes Oratory children so valuable in the world outside. Please do your utmost to maintain the rowing programme at the London Oratory. Thank you

Ball sports are not for everyone. Rowing was an integral part of my school life. It is one of the purest team sports that youngsters can learn. Give them that early opportunity to be part of a team.

Rowing at school taught me more about the commitment, team work and perseverance needed to be successful than anything else. It would be a crying shame to deprive future LOS boys and girls the opportunity to participate in such a great sport.

Please reconsider. If its self funding give the club the chance to keep it going, I am sure they can find a way.

I am very happy to come and talk to governors and management regarding the windsor boys school model
Doing away with the rowing programme would long term be a mistake and I am keen to help prevent this

As a school governor myself I fully understand the pressures on school budgets. But if LOSBC have secured sufficient funds to run the club with a call on school funds then hopefully governors will be able to review their earlier decison and support the continuation of this important activity.

Rowing was a huge part of my school life, and was a significant part of my adult life too. Retaining rowing in school is a huge benefit to the pupils, and should be encouraged.

London Oratory Rowing team has been improving immensely over the last few years with teams competing on a higher level than before. Removing the Club now would undermine the School's reputation.

My son Max rows at the school. It's a fantastic sport that teaches valuable lessons in life. The funds exist to keep the club open, so there's no reasonable excuse for the Governors' current behaviour.

The boys involved have shown great commitment and drive to the rowing program not to mention huge parental support resulting in a well supported and funded boat club. To close them down would send a very negative demoralising message to all parents and pupils. As a parent and ex pupil rower I would urge the governors and the new headmaster to change their decision.

I have just started after school rowing in year 2. I'm really enjoying rowing and I would like to be able to continue rowing whilst I am at the school. I don't participate in any other activities at the school, so I would be disappointed to lose my only extra curricular activity.
