With the great success TeamGB delivers at The Olympics and other World Class events in rowing it is essential to keep a this as "a sport for all".

It is very important to keep such programmes in state schools alive. Rowing should absolutely not be for the privileged few.

Dear LOS, I hope you decide to continue with the rowing programme as it is the ultimate team sport and as well as encouraging excellence, allows individuals to experience something not many state schools are able to offer. I went to a state school so did not start rowing until an adult, so would be sad if others were also denied the chance to row.

All schools should sim to maintain and expand sports facilities no matter what they are. My own boys went to a State school with a fantastic program.

Boys have done had amazing results rowing in the last couple of years, it would be so disappointing to stop this sport next term.

Please keep the Boat House open! Both my boys in JHouse were looking forward to joining the program one day, such a pity for the School and its prestige.

As a long time parent of a rower, this is a short sighted decision when rowing give so much to the development of pupils.

There are too few state schools rowing now. One less would be a tragedy.

Have 3 children all who have rowed to various different levels - 2 at state school. It was an extremely valuable and important part of their lives and 2 have continued to be heavily involved in rowing into adulthood

This plan has to make sense and will give the opportunity to find a long term solution. Young people need sport - don't take it away from them please.

We know how much our grandchildren are enjoying the rowing programme and want it to continue please! The idea that a boys school with so little space on site is prepared to end this marvellous fitness programme is preposterous!
