Such a shame if this wonderful sport is not continued. So good for the boys who have been so successful so far.

Going to the rowing competitions and events has always been fun. The LOS boat club must carry on as it brings the whole community together and my brother really enjoys it. Please keep the rowing club OPEN!!!!

My nephew rowed for LOS and was all the better for the opportunity it gave him to excell at the sport

When studying in the sixth form 4years ago rowing was not offered to the girls due to funding issues. I picked it up at university 3 years ago and was hooked, wish I had the opportunity sooner!

As an alumnus please keep this valuable levelling institution going. It exposes people like me who would have never gone near a boat to rowing.

This is an amazing club which helps with the development of our children. It engenders values which will make them better people. It is nonsensical that the school will not support it, given that funding is in place short term & a plan in place longer term.

Rowing teaches resilience and can be transformative for young people. It would be a great shame if the opportunity was not there for future pupils.

I benefited from my school introducing me to rowing, its a great sport that teaches young people so much. They have the funding for the year let the club stay open and give them a chance to sort out long term funding. Its a crime to close the club, its a schools job to nurture well rounded individuals not just academics.

This seems to be so popular among boys it seems awful to take it away. Can't alternative fundraising methods be found?

Having seen first hand how the pupils at the Oratory benefit hugely from the rowing options I am certain that closing the boat house will be to the detriment of both the school's sporting and academic achievements. Please reconsider this decision as there are many funding options.
