Rowing is such a good team sport in a very public school dominated rowing world.
It is so important to bring in kids from all backgrounds.

I have just chosen The London Oratory School for my Sixth Form as I would like to take up rowing there. I've started at weekends because of my brother who rows at LOSBC. Many of my friends and I would be devastated if the Club had closed just before we joined LOS in September! Please help to keep it going as they have been planning to open it up to Sixth Form Girls! I would like to be part of it from September 2017.

My son gained so much from rowing with LOSBC, including self discipline, time management, confidence and team work. Please keep our rowing family going and give others the opportunity to enjoy this great sport.

Would be a massive shame if the Oratory was to go downhill like this, given the wealth of opportunities afforded to me whilst at the school.

As has been said by other old boys of the boat club, some of my fondest memories of school are of rowing for the school. The boat club has a great future which must be realised.

Since it was established the LOS rowing club has gone from strength to strength and its achievements greatly celebrated. It would be an enormous loss to so many if it were to close now. Please keep the LOS rowing club open!

A fine institution that gave me some of my finest LOS memories. One of the school's most celebrated assets outside of music.

It would be a great and sad loss - one of the most successful Olympic sports and it no longer being fed by state schools... Bad idea...

Please don't close our rowing club. I have enjoyed every moment, attended great competitions and made friends for life! LOBSC needs to stay open!

Eliminating rowing would be a dereliction of the Governors' duty to facilitate social mobility.

It would be tragic if our next door neighbours on the river ( I coach at Emanuel School ) were to wind up their boat club and deprive future generations of London Oratory boys a chance to shine in this wonderful sport. And just at the point where the club is on the point of establishing itself as one of the leading rowing schools in the country, and one the very few from the state sector. It would be a very short sighted of the governor's if they allowed this to happen. PLEASE reconsider!
