Having only just missed out on qualifying this year, the boat club should be kept open. A few years ago they won nat schools and instead of shutting the program, they should instead look into how they can get back to those standards

I raced LOS at school. They beat me to a national title. Rowing at school without a doubt made me as a person. Do not shut down the boat club

Young people should be encouraged to participate in physical, outdoor activity. They can learn various skills and gain confidence and a sense of achievement.

The rowing was the most outstandingly positive aspect of the London Oratory school, both for our son and as parents. Our son is dyslexic and this sport really helped him to overcome so many aspects of this learning disability. It brought focus, confidence, fitness and huge returns in terms of team work, effort and ultimately great exam results. It would be most short sighted of the school to axe this programme, not to mention what would happen to the assets which were bought with funds raised by the club, not the school!

Please keep the club open - my brother loves rowing and it would be terrible and really unfair if it closed when everyone has worked so hard to have the funds for the whole of the next academic year.

Rowing is such a good team sport, and instils self-discipline, that I hope the governors will support the LOSBC Support Group's approach.

One of the biggest assets that the London Oratory school has is the rowing programme, now it is fully funded by the LOSBC support group the governors argument for cutting the programme no longer exists. The governors should be celebrating the value of this club now that they can afford to keep it.

This is a record breaking boat club which has achieved great things.
Please do not close it down, it means a great deal to those involved and many more and serves to continue to heighten the reputation of the London Oratory School.
