It's so obvious that young people need somewhere they can go somewhere safe, informative and creative . Talk to others that have time to listen and support them.

The lighthouse is an important resource the town needs to retain for the young of tomorrow , I went to Christchurch infants , junior school and Twynham comprehensive and am now 51 years old and live in Christchurch and therefore feel IAM qualified to say the important venue needs to be retained and grown , thankyou .

The Lighthouse is a local institution run by dedicated staff and is an essential resource for young people in our town. My 3 sons have all benefitted and have made lifelong friends. Closing this fabulous facility would be a grave mistake

This wonderful venue and previous venues have given much support to the younger sector of our close community, the Lighthouse has a proven track record of guidance and support for 100s of individuals over the years. To close this facility would be a shameful and destructive process saving a small amount of money in the short-term but costly to the borough in many other ways. On your concoous be it.

This is so sad that it’s even on the brink of closing. The guys helped me progress so much as a musician. Without music Passing through the generations, there will be a lack of personality in everyone. Music brings so many people together, and the Lighthouse has been a perfect home from home for so many of us. We should be promoting it to the new batch of young musicians who need a place to play and rehearse, not taking it away from them.

As a musician and a professional who works with on a daily basis woth vulnerable children. A centre like the lighthouse is such a vital part of the community, supporting young people in their development musically and social.

Such an incredible space for young people and young musicians to develop skills to better them in later life. Never come across another project quite like it, we are so lucky to have The Lighthouse as a part of our community and this issue needs to be sorted out.
