This pool is a vital resource for the City of Vero Beach! Kids need a pool to learn how to swim and the seniors need it for a community place to get some exercise! Please don't replace it with a skate park that is really not needed or that could be placed on all the land in the rear!

Save the pool! The liability insurance for a skate park has got to be outrageous! And charging for pool use should not be per person....lots of people could not afford a dollar per child when u have three kids on the hourly wages!

I live in south county and there is no other community pool even close to my area. It would be a shame to close down the leisure square pool and affect so many community members and especially the youth in this county. Please reconsider.

If they are concerned by the pool losing money with about 400 people a day using it why don’t they charge a small user fee ($1.50 daily) which would make up the difference? Also how do they plan to recover the 500,000-1,000,000 to build the skate park. That would not even address the operating expenses which worry them with the pool. Much more information is needed before we let them remove the pool. It is not convenient for everyone to go to North County.

please don't take away the only amenity for aquatics available to every citizen in this town. there are many options to put a skate park anywhere including leisure square. don't take the pool away. your council will go down in time as one of the worst in vero beach ever.

They practically did the same thing on this building once before. Don't let them do it again. It has always been one of the very few amenities we have on the mainland and the location is perfect!

Save the pool ! I learn how to swim there when I was ten ! If I had grandchildren I would take them there for lessons. SAVE THE POOL !
