It would be a shame to replace the pool with the skate park as 1. The pool offers many benefits to many people and 2. Y’all have been talking about the skatepark forever. Just pick a place and build the skate park already. Indoor would be nice. You could have built it where the Intergenerational Center is. You still can. There’s lots of space for another building. There should be separate sections for beginners and more experienced riders. If you need ideas, send me an email. My son is no expert but he knows his stuff. Have a nice day.

This pool is a jewel in the community. It serves multiple generations. We cannot look at our resources that attract people to our community. Don’t lose our charm. You sold the one asset that brought money into the community to pay for this stuff. My electric bill is not much different in either my home, my condo or my business.

This pool has been my children’s second home!!
Improve the pool for our young swimmers and seniors don’t close it, there is plenty of room for a skate park somewhere else

Please keep this pool open for the good of the Vero Beach community. This pool serves a wide constituency. Profit should not be the first priority for keeping this pool open. If you want to serve more people, stay open more hours and weekends so that the pool can be used to benefit the most people. The reason I often go to Gifford instead of this pool is that finding open lanes and hours at Leisure Square is like dodging raindrops:(.

When I was a kid we used to have field trips to the pool. I used to go to elementary school right across from it rosewood magnet.
