As a former COVB Recreation commissioner, I find it incredulous that closing this pool is even a consideration.

Vero needs this community pool for young kids to learn, high schoolers to practice for the swim team and adults to exercise.

It is unconscionable to even consider closing a public pool in Florida. It is shortsighted and shows that the City Council has abandoned its responsibility to protect the citizenry of Vero Beach and does not recognize its roll in maintaining attractive and necessary services and facilities for the common good.

As a Physical Therapist, I say we need the pool! So many people benefit from pool exercise!

This pool has saved me, I've but all my meds in half, and will soon be able to discontinue a few due to that fact I can swim there! Please don't close the pool

Don’t close the pool! Many children have enjoyed their class parties and picnics there. One of our best memories of my daughters school year took place there!

Saved my life! My knee was so bad I could barely walk. Water aerobics at Leisure Square saved it!

With the heat index rising to 100+ degrees, people want to SWIM, not SKATE..the MOST therapeutic water aerobics classes affordable to ALL ..you've got my vote!

Please keep this open for the use of the community. If needed raise the rates that's fine with me, but do not build out for a skate park.
