Please do not close our pool. Our pool is a community gem. Water aerobics is one of the best forms of exercise there is. Come join us for the classes.

Dear Mayor, I was wondering what is in this for you since John S. has given a plan to raise almost all the money you would need to keep our pool running. Also, please don't pit the skateboard folks against the pool folks. We can have and should have both for the good of the community. See you on the 20th.
Sincerely,
Anne Whitney

Please continue the pool. There are so many older people in this town that can’t afford anything else. They surely can’t benefit from a skate park!!

Please keep the Leisure Square pool open and operational. It is vital to the complex and to the health and well-being of the community. It's loss would be tragic.

My wife and I am a frequent user of the Leisure Square Pool for many years. As a senior citizen, our instructor John does a great job in helping us maintain our health by attending his water aerobics class.

This pool is vital to so many Vero Beach citizens for exercise and physical well being. Closing it is the worst plan possible!

This pool and, specifically the water aerobics classes were highly recommended by my orthopedic surgeon as a result of my diagnoses of spinal stenosis, and serious arthritis in my knees. The pool serves all sorts of people with serious medical conditions, and even though it had lots of participants now, when the snow birds return, the class will be packed. It's especially important for City Council members to realize that the instructor of the water aerobics classes is certified in exercise programs for the elderly. PLEASE do not close the pool!

I am a disabled veteran and I use the pool classes as water therapy, recommended by the VA, every week. As a council member, would you close this pool if it benefited your own family members? Think of your community FIRST, not the money.

Surely a community like Vero can make room to accommodate both groups.

I am a member of Leisure Square and attend the water aerobic classes year round. I don't know what I'd do without Leisure Square Pool! Building a skate park should not be at the expense of the only community pool in Vero.
