The pool should be considered the same as a park and not as a money making enterprise.

Our Foster Son who attended Vero Beach High School had his swimming practice at Leisure Sq. and we know that the Swim Team was very instrumental in his development into a fine young man. Please think about the health and safety of our youth.

A skate park? Please.... Think about the cost of liability insurance. Also, this is Florida. The town needs at least one public pool.

This is the only reasonable place for the athletes to: learn water safety for their own lives practice swimming practice and compete Special Olympics events!!! Coach George

This pool is a vital part of Vero Beach's recreation, and should be saved for all to use.

I’ve been to the city pool when I visit my sister Pat in Vero. Nice pool and I’ve met some great people. Keep up the fight!

Please keep the pool open at Leisure Square.

At 68 years of age my most recent blood pressure reading was 102/58. I do not take any meds. My “medicine” is lap swimming. Since learning about the pool at Leisure Square it has become a regular part of my cardiovascular fitness program. Swimming is excellent exercise for people of all ages but especially for older people. Closing a lap pool in a community of older people is an insult to the community’s potential to improve cardiovascular health. Instead of closing the pool advertise that it’s there. I lived in Vero for two years before I learned about this beautiful pool.

Please don’t close this pool. My son loves the Bolts team and Pam runs a great Masters program for adults.

This pool gives joy and health benefits to so many senior citizens, special Olympics and kid programs! Why can't the WHOLE community benefit from both skate park and the pool?

If Val can raise a 100k in fundraiser for island than one can be done to save the pool. Really Val? Guess us not in the island don’t count. Save the pool. More people us that than skateboarding. Pool is fir all ages. Keep Vero,Vero. Not Pt. sr Lucie it West Palm. People for the people

Having leisure square pool stay open is important to me and my family which includes a swimmer for vero beach high school.

I’m 52 years old. I be been living in Vero Beach since the age of 7. I learned to swim in this pool. My daughter is on the VBHS swim team and now swims there. That pool is a part of this town. Please don’t let Mayor Zudans destroy this valuable part of our community.

The pool is a wonderful asset to the residents old and young for the city of Vero and the county. Please keep the pool
