Save the Leisure Square Pool, Vero Beach's Only Public Pool

Please make pool finding a priority.

The fact is many people use and enjoy Leisure Square facilities, and right now, it happens to be the only pool available for the VBHS swim team. Why on earth would anyone want to take it?

A very valuable asset to our community. It has many uses by different groups of people. Use your heads and keep it in our community. Thanks

Please leave the pool there. A town without a pool in summer in Florida is just wrong.

I am a county resident, but know many students who will be impacted by this closure. Please reconsider.

Pool serves local community, visitors from all states and foreign countries, handicapped children and adults in safe life guarded environment, encourages healthy outdoor exercise appropriate for our climate.

I use the pool 3 days a week.

It’s an asset of the community used by Hundreds, this is what communities do. They provide healthful options, especially for the citizens who can’t get them because of economic or real estate concerns. Skate parts are fine but are used by only a small segment of folks - teens and early 20s. A pool can and is used by people of all ages - babies to seniors - and would give pleasure to far more people than the few skateboarders. If skateboarders are so important, why didn't the city and/or county carry thru on announced plans to build a park for them years ago?

Pool for many, esp children, is FAR more important than more condo or business development.

Catering only to the wealthy causes dysfunction and unease in a community. Government should look out for the interests of all economic groups. Taking away quality of life amenities is short sighted and a bit cruel

This serves the generation that you serve. We need this pool

Only public pool! River is polluted. Ocean access is limited. Stop trying to sell everything not nailed down

Come on City Counsel, do the right thing for the community and figure out a way keep our pool open!
