This is an idea that especially appeals to people who have a pool in their backyard. Typical for members of the party that controls politics in Indian River County.

Surely we can put the skate park somewhere else. Save Vero Beach's only public swimming pool!

My children will be affected if the Leisure Square camp is removed including my son will swim for Vero Beach High School and my daughter attends Leisure Square camp where they swim. There is plenty of room in the back of that building to build a skate park.

I’m not against the skatepark, just don’t want the pool shut down.

LS pool is a gem that unites the community in a wholesome, inclusive, safe environment. To close this pool would be a tremendous loss.

The pool is a community asset. Not everything is about making money. Serving the community and providing recreational opportunities for all is so important!
