My children and I volunteer with Special Olympics Athletes. Closing the pool would hurt so many people in our community. As a small city with resources we should absolutely be in the business of community outreach.

I enjoy many things at Leisure Square on a weekly basis. From swimming to walking and the gym ect. This place promotes a healthy lifestyle.

This pool is a place for young and old alike in the community! It should NOT even be considered to close unless plans on building a new are in place! A skate park would be awesome and should be built but not at the expense of the recreation facility that we already have! My son swam his first swim meed at this pool! While a skate park will be great for the young people, older citizens will not be able to exercise there. It will not provide cooling relief during our long hot summers. If attendance is down at the pool I suggest that you do more marketing, amp up programs, and take public feedback on what prgrams they would like. It can also be used for schools for swim practice and summer programs. This is our only pool! Do NOT take it away! It is NOT in the public interest and not what the people of this county want!

We don't need to get rid of the only public pool vero beach has. Yes a skate park is nice but there are other places that a skate park could go. Liesure squares pool is used by so many groups. Yes there is a pool in Sebastian but we shouldn't have to drive to next town for a public pool.

I support the building of a skate park without compromising the pool. Why can’t we have both? Why can’t both exist on the same property?

I have been a strong advocate through the years for a skate park in Vero. However, I do not want to see it built at the expense of the beloved pool at Leisure Square.

The Leisure Square swimming pool is an ASSET. Many residents do NOT have access to a pool.

This pool is one of things that makes Vero Beach great. Getting rid of it would be a huge disservice to the community.
