Most ridiculous idea the city council has ever entertained.

I have have NEVER lived in a town without a public pool or public tennis courts. Not everyone lives in a gated community. More than half our population is in need these recreational facilities. This is the rich taking from the poor. Stop it now. This is supposed to be a nice town for everyone.

Everyone should know how to swim, please leave the city pools, so lessons can be taught.

Our children both, especially our daughter spent years swimming at this pool. It would be a a huge disservice to the community to take away the only pool the city offers to adults and children.

Wow! Shame on you!!! How and why is the real ? The only pool in the county! Services the entire community and has for decasdes! You and your board member's should be ashamed of your self's for even suggesting the thought. Over the fact it's cost more ten it brings in? You can not put a price tag on everything. Our taxes pay for this. Same people who put you all into office to serve the people and community can do the same to remove you all!

This pool serves many groups in this community from the elderly to small children. It would be unconscionable to get rid of it.

Don’t close the pool! Just build the skate park behind leisure square or other area! Why ruin it for so many people young and old! It’s hot in Florida and not all can or want to go swim in the ocean with all the bacteria now! Save the leisure square pool!

The Leisure square pool is a vital part of Vero Beach and should not be closed! I agree a skate part would be good for the community, but funds need to be generated not taken away from the Leisure pool! It’s a no brainer!

I believe a skate park would be great, but not at the cost of the pool. The pool is utilized by far too many people to just do away with it for a few people to have a skate park. There is plenty room for both.
