I am retired and moved here because of the Golf Course. It could mean so much for Homestead and I can not understand why anyone would not be for this. Vote yes to Golf Course.

Come on get with it Homestead. I know for a fact that it is a small number of people in Keys Gate that do not want the Golf Course and new construction homes. I for one would love to see my property values rise.

Why in the world is the counsel of Homestead giving Mr. Rosen such a hard time. This nothing short of a win win for the City of Homestead FL. It will increase property valves which will raise tax income, it will bring in more people from outside of the city to play golf increasing tax income, It will supply more upscale housing around the golf course raising tax income. Get with it counsel and let the City of Homestead fl grow. In other words get with it or leave the council and let folks that want more than section 8 housing in Homestead fl take over.

My concern is for the homeowners around the golf course and their declining property values. If the land around the golf course and in the industrial park is zoned multi-family and Wayne Rosen's plan calls for single family (1/2 the density) than what is the problem? Less traffic and bigger homes - a win for Keys Gate! What is really going on???

I really Believe the Golf Course will help The Keys Gate Community as well as all of Homestead. We need this. Please allow the current zoning of Commercial/multi family units in the Park of Commerce to include single family homes. I also respectfully petition The Council to approve Mr. Wayne Rosen's request to allow the approximate 11 acres of golf course land to be rezoned as residential land.

Doug agree the naysayers are frustrated, also agree their happiness depends on making others miserable. We won't go after accomplishments, this lowers us to their level. What Keys Gate Residents should ask is why would a group who's leaders are Realtors, Property Management, a Commercial Real-Estate Advisor and a guy on P&Z want to hold up progress....

The #1 name in Golf Architecture is Fazio. He would never put his name on anything other then a winner. Let's make this happen. All the naysayers are frustrated human beings who haven't accomplished anything in their live. They are not happy unless they make others miserable. 11 acres? Really? What can be done with a 5-8'wide strip of land taken our of golf course corridor. Get a life people. Let's all help Wayne put the Fazio/Keys Gate Golf Club on the map again. See you all at the 19th hole.
