I am 100% for the rejuvenation of the golf course in accordance with the Feb 3rd plan proposed by the Rosen/Fazio partnership. However, given the track record and rumors prior to this, I think it would be in the best interest of everyone, especially the homeowners to have a few items clarified... Please keep in mind that one of the "rumors" was to rezone the golf course itself to make way for more housing. Does anyone even know what "11 acres of land" they are referring to? Is there a diagram or description of location of said land that is being petitioned for rezoning? What is the land currently zoned as and what is it currently being used for/as?

This is a step in the right direction for Homestead. As a real estate agent that works in the area, this will create more jobs, bring in more home buyers and raise values on current homes in the area. We need more venues in Homestead like this and its truly an amazing site. Lets save the golf course.

Keys Gate Golf Course is the anchor of the community for the City of Homestead.....with the effort of Mr. Wayne Rosen and Mr. Jim Fazio...we expect Keys Gate to be one of the finest golf course developments in South Florida.....thumbs up to this project....and the sooner, the better....
