People, the park of commerce was approved for mixed-usage in 2012 for higher density. The fingers surrounding the golf course will be built on no matter what. This petition is asking for single family homes. This is less housing then what is already approved. We know a few of you do not want any new homes built, however that is not the reality. No matter whom the developer is, D.R. Horton, LUX Com, Lennar or whoever, HOMES are going to be built. So it is our opinion, less is better than more.

Houses will be built no matter who owns the course. Also, if the golf course never reopens, look on the picture above and see what can be built on the course and the surrounding area.

The developer bought the land cheap because no one could build on it. My brother was working at the golf course when it was sold. They laid everyone off and told them they were going to let the grass re grow and re do the course in a year or so. Now this developer wants to make millions by building more homes that we don't need, leveraging this against the golf course. They are dirt bags. Build the golf course like you promised. We don't need anymore houses. Screw your petition. Wake up sheep.

No matter what multiple family units will be built; we as concerned homeowners would like to see single family homes instead of Condos and Townhouses.
