I find it curious that the mayor of this beautiful, historical town instead of hearing the voters voices and joining with constituents to raise awareness and find restoration funds, chooses to turn a blind eye. In my humble opinion I think the mayor may have bigger plans for this piece of property. It’s sad we are losing so many beautiful and bucolic small towns to the planning and zoning boards. Ca Ching!!!

As an active member of Water's Edge Artists, Painters for Preservation it is our mission to raise awareness for not just waterways, but also for historically significant sites. The 1st German Lutheran Church is just such a site.

I live in Cedarburg Wi. The charm of our downtown can be attributed to the preservation of our old buildings. Save this church!

Once gone, it’s gone forever. Why is it that razing would even be considered? That building has solid bones and should be preserved. There are other buildings with no historical significance that are in worse shape. Stop this insanity

This church building holds together much of the community's cultural heritage dating back to 1882. Help preserve it!

I've visited this church in the past and I also think is a symbolic historical icon of Kewaunee that should be preserved
