Cannot bear the idea of this classic cinema, an absolute joy for me from my childhood onwards being replaced by flats we don't need. Please don't do this!

This is a simply gorgeous cinema with a wide range of screen sizes. the largest really have a sense of grandeur with the gilt decoration and red plush curtains to loose this to luxury flats would be a crime. plus it is the home to many memories of many former teenagers i grew up with it.

Please don’t demolish a beautiful Art Deco building!! With the new Design Museum and with Linley Sambourne House and Leighton Hoise nearby also with the Odean there is an opportunity to create a bigger design hub in this part of Kensington, that will bring visitors to the area and provide opportunities for education for people.
The building of more uninspiring “Luxury” apartments will destroy both the variety and interest of the street scape so don’t do it!
