I don't only sign this petition just save Kea but also save other native species here in New Zealand as well as saving the ecosystem.

1080 is an inhumane and indiscriminate poison

You have no right to go on killing our native birds and wild animals. If I treated my animals the way you kill them I would be jailed.

They say it's to save the birds from preditors, but 60 years ago before 1080 there were rats, cats and stoats and millions of birds. Now there are rats, cats and stoats but very few native birds. If it hasn't worked in 60 years why on do they carry on?

The 1080 is taken up by all the plants and trees in the in the enviroment and theanimals that eat the vegetation become contaminated. This is why all feral exports of wild pig and deer worldwide were banned from New Zealand . This is Ecoterrorism at its worst being done by the NATIONAL GOVERNMENT who OWN the plant in New Plymouth These people have no interest about the damage they are doing to the health of the people of NZ or the enviroment but are only interestedin corporate greed which is lining their pockets.

What do I need to say about killing our native birds no need

1080 has ben proven to kill Kea and yet DoC still spreads to to protect Kea?? Totally WRONG!!!
