Save the Jefferson Pools

I've yet to visit these historical pools in my Uncle's home town. Please preserve this historical monument fur future generations to visit. Thank you.

These historic bath houses must be saved and restored. They are such a piece of history that should live on for generations.

This is my home town save them ...

The pools were first part of my life over 50 years ago before I understood their history. They provided therapy for my mother. They did the same for Lincoln’s mother. How can you destroy and disrespect history and healing? Are we that blind or too greedy to see real value!

I don't know how The Homestead can do this. A Virginia Historic Landmark allowed to be treated like garbage. Please re-think this and do the right thing,

I moved to Bath County in 2008 from Las Vegas. Coming from a city that doesn’t value the old, but instead destroys history to build new, I hold the history in Bath close to my heart and it should be preserved ! Please don’t let the bath houses fall to ruin.

These are very historical for the area and should be restored and reopened to preserve the wonderful soothing qualities they were used for. Must save these pools!

These bath houses are such a valuable piece of our history. Please don’t let us loose such a wonderful place and piece of many people’s memories

Please please save the bathhouse! I want to visit it in 2 years when I visit my hometown!

This is clearly a mercenary corporate tactic buy Omni International. Demolition by neglect should not be accepted by local authorities. This beautiful place has been overtaken by so much corporate greed, that rather than costing $18 a day for soak in the natural pools, the only way to access the Springs is to pay $230 a night at the Omni owned Homestead hotel now.

It's a disgrace how these bath houses have been left to rot...

The Jefferson Pools are a symbol of Bath county's identity, a National historic treasure, and an important destination for tourists. It is an act of total disrespect to the citizens of Bath and to the Nation to willfully allow them to deteriorate! As owners, Omni, out of a sense of stewardship and pride, act now to restore these gems.

Please save this wonderful piece of history. It would be such a shame to lose it.
