I live most of my life in Bath County. Im not living there at the moment. The pools have a big impact on the county, alone with a lot of history.. We are destroying to much history now days. Got to keep what we have

I can remember going to the pools with my mom when I was a little girl and remember how good the water felt. Historical as well.

I can’t imagine not seeing the pools at the bottom of the mountain.

Thomas Jefferson is rolling over in his grave right now. Thus far Bath has lost the lower Cascade Golf Course, the Train Depot, The Cascade Inn, The Theater, The Livery Stable, the old Post Office, the play ground, the Out Door Pool, the green house, the Homestead Garage and the Old Fire House. I guess it won't be long before the Virginia Building will be gone. We have to stop this historical destruction. All of these buildings could have been restored and repurposed. Now we may lose the must important site in Bath County. We have to stop this and NOW!

Such a shame to lose such a historic asset. Over the years many people have gone there for relief, Surely the hotel could restore and advertise it as one of its services.

I am appalled that Omni is not fully behind this project. It's a preservation of Bath history and only one of the sites that make us all proud. Bath is sacred ground.

Such a shame that The Omni is not fixing these buildings. They have not even come over to cut the grass. It is going to cave in soon but I guess that is what they want. :(
