Keep the Hokie Pokie! It's a proud Tech tradition and part of Hokie culture. No other university can do the "Hokie" Pokie, so don't destroy the tradition and school pride.

This is my 7th year as a VT student and 24th year as a Hokie. Please do not remove this tradition, it's a staple of the Hokie Nation.

There are two things you don't mess with at VT football games: Enter Sandman and The Hokie Pokie. Otherwise, it's just not Hokie football. Athletics - please rethink your decision!

Hokies go to the games to have a good time, and cheer on the team. The Marching Virginians are the best "cheerleaders" they have, the HOKIE POKIE is a definite part of this, this is certainly a part of the Spirit of Tech. Come on, everyone loves the Hokie Pokie. Don't chop down this tradition. If you're talking about being tough, talk to those suzaphones on the field playing while doing the hokie pokie. They are something I think everyone looks for. Leave the "toughness" to the foot ball players.

I don't think it's about adding more toughness, I get what they're trying to do, they just want to freshen things up, but this is one tradition that should NOT be caught in the crossfire! SAVE THE HOKIE POKIE!
