I have been a season ticket holder since 2000. Traditions are good for the game day experience. This is a fun tradition that shouldn't be removed!

VT Class of 2012 grad here. You can add more traditions but please don't take this one away! The word "Hokie" (i.e. hokey) is used differently in other regions of the US but doing the "Hokie Pokie" is something everyone can relate to and therefore remember our name/mascot. Please keep it!

The Hokie Pokie is OUR song! No one else can claim that and there is nothing more awesome than doing the Hokie Pokie with all your fellow Hokies at a football game. Please do not get rid of this tradition

When you think of Virginia Tech football you think of Skipper, the Corp, and the Hokie Pokie. Removing the Hokie Pokie is certainly going to energize the fans but not in the way you're expecting.

Why are we abandoning the great traditions of the school? Let's honor the dignitaries by having them do the homie pokie with the tubas.
