Sad to see another tradition tossed to the side with little regards for the fan base. Best tradition in football simply wiped away.

Marching Band is as important to the football experience as the game itself. It's actually been proven to be MORE athletically challenging. And to watch a kick-line of Sousaphonists playing and dancing the H-P is an incredible display of that athleticism. Shame on you for even considering its demise!

Great tradition! Save this one, Don't do away with one tradition to replace it with another, just create a new one and keep the old one.

Save the Hokie Pokie! It would like doing away with Sweet Caroline in the 7th inning stretch. These things are called TRADITIONS for a reason! Hey new guy.... How about we come to your house and change your traditions?!?!

Save the Hokie pokie. Because team doesnt stop at the bench. Marching Band is a athletic team and should be respected just like any other aspect of college sports.

Keep the traditions of our school! What's next? The lunch pail?? Funny that we can't keep "Stick It In" because it's not "HokieRespect" but the Hokie Pokie has to go for being too soft?!? Make up your minds!!

It's a tradition. I grew up in Blacksburg. There is too much change going on in this world right now. It would be nice for one thing to remain the same.

It's a fun and unique to us tradition!! Make the players tougher! Don't take it out on the band.
