This tower has personal history for me as the farm I grew up on was close to the park. Climbing the tower was something my family did often. As the tower was built in the early 1930s I strongly believe that my grandfather, William H. Moore, was one of the locals who supported building the tower. Let's repair and preserve this tower!

We have missed the tower ever since it closed. Everything doesn't have to be handicap accessible. Put a camera at the base for viewing!
