The tower is a historic landmark and should be restored. The ADA "like experience" reasoning is misguided here as other overlooks exist in the park with the same view - these can even be enhanced with cantilevered overlooks or accessible "belvederes" of their own off. Building a ramp to serve the few who need it, would impact the site surrounding the tower negatively and be a visual blight. RESTORE THIS LANDMARK!

This is an iconic spot of my teenage hood. At age 16, I took my first boyfriend up the tower (and he was afraid of heights). His knees were knocking the whole climb up there. We shared our first kiss at the top.

My roots are in Door Co and the Pot Park tower is one of the best of childhood memories growing up in southern Door! The view from the top of it is a quintessential image of the very best that the peninsula has to offer. Please, please, please repair it - By doing so, you will be preserving a vitally important, HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT structure!

Don't screw this up the same way you screwed up Eagle Tower at Peninsula State Park. History was DEMOLISHED before the public had time to do anything.
This tower beautiful, it's historic and it holds a special place in people's hearts. This was not taken into account before tearing down Eagle Tower but it's not too late to make the right call, here.
DO THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE, rather than the will of the DNR.
