The Highfield needs to be saved from being turned into more housing. With such a prominent location within Blacon it should be turned into something for the community.

For such a large estate we have 1 puplic house left !!! Such a shame to see the hife gone been a great social area for many of the residents of blacon and surrounding areas .

At this rate of buikding homes for over 55's before too long the whole of Blacon will be an over 55 estate . Enough is enough, first Highfield school lost half their building and valuable green field promoting a fit healthy lifestyle in the young. Then we lose half the parade, and local community buildings and health centre all to over 55 properties. Enough is enough.
