Request council to rescind the previous motion to demolish the Water Tower.

Save this structure for historical reasons I lived just blocks away at one time. It's worth it , haven't you lost enough from the flood !?!?

i love the water tower it's part of our history

I grew up playing at the water tower. It became a hangout as I got older with the local kids. I caught the bus there for my first 4 years of school.

I think it would be a real shame to demolish. I am sure if allowed there would be folks that would donate there time to help with restoring the tower.

We disagree on the mayors comments; as a rural resident we travel frequently between Nanton and Calgary. This is a landmark of the town that is seen from all area highways and should be made a historical site. Nanton came together and saved the elevators, so can High River to save the tower!They've already taken away too much of the towns historical landmarks( the bridge). We think every town and city needs a landmark. Is Calgary going to demolish the Calgary Tower when it gets " too old"?
