The quote for restoration and tear down are both ridiculous, spend some effort researching...

I climbed it in 2001 ripping my favourite shirt getting over the fence. Fun memories. I still have the shirt and it always makes me think of the HR water tower.

What are we going to call the hill if there is no water tower on it its a land mark in my eyes and we lost all the grain elevators even after saving one to only lose to fire

The water tower is part of High River, everything has changed so much in the last few years, let's keep something from the past. It was so sad to see the old 100 year old train bridge to go, I would hate to see the water tower see the same fate.

the water tower is a landmark where most our children in the daycare knows about a name for little park next to it... Don't understand why we keep destroying a little piece of history in our little town... I think and agree that the restoration cost is ridiculous.

The water tower is an integral part of the history of High River and must be saved!! So many families have found memories of taking their kids to the playground there.

The town has had so many changes in the last few years, is it in the best interest in the town to remove a historical landmark. I think the town should focus on more important issues then this.

It's iconic. If it's safe, leave it alone.
