This is a towering landmark in High River and to me, represents the fact that High River will climb to any height to stay strom. We've been here two years and are amazed at the strength of this beautiful town. Please, leave the tower in it's home.

After losing the train bridge and a number of other homes aground High River after the flood. I think out would be sad to lose more of High Rivers history. Restore it. Make it a lasting memory of High Rivers days past.

I lived a block away from the water tower in High River and always thought it would be a great structure to refurbish and use as a Town Monument. It is on the highest elevation in High River and would be a great icon for the Town! So many possibilities for it!!

Grew up in HR. I think it's a great bit of heritage. Can't imagine hou much the town would have to spend to create a land mark symbol of it's past that wouldn't come close. I still drive by it when I'm in town. Don't think it's going to fall down or anything so couldn't there be a fund set up to restore it? Doesn't have to be done tomorrow.Got to be spme way to save it. It's valuable!

In just over a decade we lost our last grain elevator and a historic hotel to fire, and we lost innumerable landmarks and beautiful old buildings to the flood. I'm all for change and building for the future, but our future identity has to be nurtured out of a deeply-rooted past.
In keeping with our vision of ourselves as an arts community, I'd like to see the water tower refinished and turned into an art gallery, with a restaurant at the top and gift shop at the bottom.
