I'm a professional dancer and choreographer from Barcelona, graduated at the MTD / AHK in Amsterdam in 2005. I keep a close contact with the Dutch dance scene, collaborating as a choreographer and as a teacher in reference dance spaces such as Dansateliers and Conny Janssen in Rotterdam, Korzo Theater in Den Haag, HJS and AHK in Amsterdam and ArtEZ in Arnhem.
HJS is a reference space for daily training and movement research for professional dancers and advanced-level students in The Netherlands. Profssional dancers train daily in these studios before rehearsals and to keep fit during non-work periods.
HJS hosts daily training and intensive workshops by international teachers and therefore it is an international reference in Europe, being a cluster and meeting point for many foreign dancers who come to Amsterdam to audition for Dutch companies. They take lessons in these studio to get ready.
HSJ is an international reference for the free-lance Dutch dance scene.
And it is critical that it can keep up with its full activity in order for Amsterdam to remain as an international city for professional dancers with the highest level.
