HJS Foundation is the creative hub for young up and coming dancers and creatives that pulls in people from all around the world and holds the Dutch contemporary dance scene together. A place like this has to be funded to keep events affordable for the people it speaks to. Do not let HJS die.

Forms of art such as dancing should be sustained like everything else is involved in producing beauty.

This institution represents the heartbeat, incubator and meeting place for a huge number of dancers professionals and future professionals in the Netherlands. Losing it would eat into the basic fabric that supports an under supported group of artists. Artists that have to invest daily into their own skills and for whom being able to take even a small number of classes or a workshop adds a great deal to their personal development. The cost on the public purse is minimal in relation to the long terms benefits it brings. Please think again about this choice!!

One of the very last places where professional dancers can still receive the training and inspiration they need to maintain their job.

This school must be open. The ballet schools in holland are already too little and and each one of them counts to make the art world in the Netherlands more significant and full. Save the school and give dancers opportunities to train and work

These institutions - their vast influence reaches far beyond your borders! - are the thread from culture into the future. Keep this thread STRONG. Do not let a temporary cash flow amputate your culture. Culture is worthless - yes it cannot be bought! It remains only in the supported ACTIONS of living practitioners! Keep this thread strong - give them a rope to survive!
Succes!
