There should be no question as to the mutual benefit that will accrue to both the University of Rhode Island and the Hellenic Studies Center upon the completion of this project. You may be tempted by the profit motive now but you will be rewarded to a far greater degree by the enlightenment the Center will offer for all to profit.

Dear Governor, Gina Raimondao,
The Hellenic Studies Center at the Kingston Campus, of the University of Rhode Island, has to be saved, built and completed in order for the Greek and American community, students, faculty and scholars from around the world to study Greek: Language, culture, history, politics, art, music, customs, etc. for better cross-cultural understanding, respect and appreciation for present and future generations!

This Hellenic Studies Center at University must be built. This Center will provide significant cultural benefits to all citizens. We need to give a strong message to the Governor of Rhode Island, the Hon. Gina Raimondo, that she needs to protect this project and allow it to come to completion as it will be unique to Rhode Island and beneficial to all Americans.
