Museums are valuable to the whole community, they educate and entertain. A city of culture doesn't disregard this.

I'm a history undergrad at Hull, and the hands on history museum was the spark that inspired me to study the subject. Don't close it!

It is disgusting, it is one of the best museums in Hull, Children can touch and feel history instead of looking at things in glass cases.

Not another closure! The City of Culture 2017, - they are closing libraries (Anlaby Park is now kept open by volunteers) and now the Hands on Museum being closed just in time for the school Easter holidays. - Great planning Hull, will there be any culture left by 2017????

Another round of cuts and again it those on the lowest paid grades who suffer. Middle management structure needs to be reviewed before services are cut.

We should always ensure we have access to our history and all our museums. It is important to know our history to ensure we can relate our story to the future generations.

Having been awarded the prestigious accolade, 'City of Culture', it seems something of a travesty that the council are now closing down museums!

Try cutting cabinet posts and one-third of the Councillors. That would help.
